Family Law

Family law matters can be complex and lengthy. AFS is able to provide limited-scope representation for uncontested divorce and child custody legal matters. All contested matters are limited to a consultation, resources and legal referrals.

Marriage, biological children, adoption, and divorce may open immigration doors for non-citizens in limited circumstances. For more information about how your family law matter may affect your immigrant status, call the AFS Office and make an appointment with an immigration attorney.

Our office--including attorneys and all of our office staff--is bound by the duty of confidentiality and attorney client privilege. Any communication you make with our office, including phone calls, emails, and virtual or in-person meetings, are protected and privileged. Information about your status or other personal information is safe here.

To make an appointment please call our office at (512) 245-2370. Be sure to have your student ID # (ex: A01234567) available to schedule an appointment.
